She competed in Femina Miss India 2004 and won the title of Femina Miss India World Sayali hails from the city of Nashik and was born in Maharashtra, in a traditional Marathi family. She studied at Fravashi Academy, Nasik, and completed her graduation in BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) from Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute of Finance and Management Studies.The college is located inside Mumbai University campus, Kalina, Santacruz.
