AP to reward Sindhu with Rs 3 cr cash prize, govt job

Chandrababu Naidu is better than any Chief Minister in the country, at least when
comparisons were drawn over the rewards announced for Olympic Silver Medalist PV Sindhu. A day after he claimed to be instrumental in her historic Olympic feat, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu offered a reward to the tune of Rs 3 crore to PV Sindhu. In addition, A 1,000 sq yard house site will be allotted in AP Capital Amaravati. Last but not the least, The Athlete could avail Group 1 employment in State Government if she is interested. AP Government also honoured PV Sindhu's coach Pullela Gopichand with a cash reward of Rs 50 lakh for his services. In that way, Naidu is ahead of any other Chief Minister in India. While Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced Rs 2 crore reward, Telangana CM KCR and Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan offered Rs 1 crore and Rs 50 lakh respectively.
