On the evening of Thursday, 29 happened the last debate between the candidates for mayor of Rio de Janeiro. The discussion of themes revelatory to the wonderful city was aired by Globo TV and mediated by journalist Ana Paulo Araújo. They were called the top names of the dispute, which is quite tough to define who should get to the second round. According to research, Marcelo Crivelli, the PRB, is ahead of the others and be guaranteed with the vacancy in the second phase of the election.
However, at least four candidates have real chances to have enough votes to quarrel with him for the preference of the public. Perhaps, therefore, the debate has started quite hot. The candidate Jandira Feghali, the Communist Party of Brazil (PC do B) was selected to the first question. She chose the name of the current government, Pedro Paulo (PMDB) which is supported by mayor Eduardo Paes, to your question.
Before you start asking the question, Jandira, however, remembered the impeachment of former President Dilma Rousseff, of the Workers Party (PT). She has come to TV Globo calling the channel "coup", arguing that the media have promoted something very bad for Brazilian democracy. Only after saying all this, she did the question to Peter Paul. The moment they were in the pulpit was pretty tense. Each went on to win one minute of TV Globo right of reply.
After the time between the candidates, the mediator Ana Paula Araujo ended up giving a scolding in Jandira, noting that TV Globo was cited for her. Then she said that the channel was not required even to do that debate, but did so in consideration of the viewers, to know to choose who would rule the city was a very important moment.
