Biography ::

Nithya was born on 8 April 1988, in Bangalore, Karnataka. She has completed graduation in Journalism at the Manipal Institute of Communication. She never dreamt about acting and loved to be a journalist. But later she decided to be a film-maker and joined a course in cinematography at the FTI Pune. During her enterance exam she met director Nandini Reddy, which turned Nithya into lead actress. 

Nithya Menon is an Indian film actress and playback singer, best known in South Indian films. In 1998 she made her acting debut as a child artist in an Indian English language film "Hanuman". She made her Telugu film debut with Ala Modalaindi. She has acted in many hit films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and even in English languages. Nithya is recently seen in Vikram Kumar's movie '24'. She will be coming up with Telugu movie 'Janatha Garage'. 

Family ::

Nithya Menen was born in Bangalore into a Malayali family. Currently, her parents living in Bangalore.

Career ::

Nithya Menon has made her first screen appearence at the tender age of 10 in the Indian English film "Hanuman", as younger sister to Tabu's character. When she was in 12th, she got the leading role opposite great Malayalam actor Mohanlal in Aakasha Gopuram. She next made her Kannada debut with the film Josh. Her first Telugu movie was "Ala Modalaindi" alongside Nani, which earned her three awards. Later she was seen in the film 180 alongwith Siddharth and Priya Anand. 

Nithya's 2012 release was the Telugu romantic hit film Ishq. In 2013, she starred in three Telugu films, Okkadine, Jabardasth and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde. Nitya was latest seen in the film Rudramadevi as Muktamba.
